A medical copywriter writes medical or health-based content for digital or print materials, with the goal to persuade their reader to take action (a call to action ‘CTA’).
They check the content they produce is evidence-based and accurate at the time of writing.
As a medical copywriter, I have written:
- scripts for videos
- print materials for marketing products, such as business cards, leaflets and flyers
- website copy for online doctors, hospitals, pharmacies, and health apps
- social media content for Instagram
Medical copywriting is the fun and creative side of medical writing. It’s a versatile and dynamic career which I enjoy very much.
