My name is Virginia Chachati and I’ve been a registered pharmacist with the UK General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) since 2014.
I am a medical copywriter, and I specialise in websites, social media, and search engine optimisation (SEO). I write educational, accessible and easy to understand content for patients, the public, and healthcare professionals.
I create evidence-based, accessible health information videos as Pharmacist Virginia Chachati on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. I get over 100,000 views per month.
I have worked with the NHS, UKHSA, DHSC, WHO, YouTube Health, L’Oréal, and the Patient Information Forum (PIF). I am PIF TICK certified.
I help healthcare professionals and scientists learn medical writing through my medical writing academy Write Clinic. I host Medical Writing Uncut, a video podcast on YouTube with over 65 episodes.
Founded in 2021, I have a LinkedIn medical writing community with over 20,000 members.
I am the Founder of the International Medical Writing Association (IMWA) and the digital publication Medical Writer Magazine.
I am a UK expat based in Germany and work remotely. I do visit the UK quite often, so I can meet for tea in person :-)
