Here’s how to upload a LinkedIn video properly, so it’s accessible to everyone 😊

Hello, I’m Virginia and now you’re going to learn how to upload a LinkedIn video.

You can either click on media or you can click on Start Post and make sure that anyone will be able to watch a video. And then click on Add Media and upload your video. So here I’m just selecting the file. And then I click on captions.

So LinkedIn will generate automatic captions. But you want to make sure you review them. So check that on. But if you want to avoid having to edit those captions then just upload an SRT file from your video editor. So here’s one that I’ve saved earlier and I’m just uploading that. And I click apply.

And then I’m going to change the thumbnail for my video to give more context to the audience so they can click on play to watch the video. And I’m just going to add that on top. So it’s like a cover image.

And after I’ve added the thumbnail then I can either decide to change the thumbnail or change any captions, or I can delete it and start again. Then I’m done. I copy and paste my post and then I upload the video.
