I started creating educational health videos on YouTube in 2020. Whilst I was passionate about travel health, the world was in lockdown (talk about bad timing!).

Now in 2023, people are travelling again and I’ve got so much better at writing scripts, and creating videos. Editing software has also become much easier and intuitive to use!

I took a YouTube Health course in March of 2023, and started to create videos more intentionally for my Pharmacist V YouTube channel.

I was introduced to the NHS social media team, who said my videos were accessible, and I was able to deliver educational health content in an engaging way for their audience (the UK public).

I now write scripts based on the content calendar of the NHS. My scripts get approved by the NHS clinical team, and then I film the videos to go with them.

I really enjoy creating videos and I look forward to upgrading my video setup – everything from lights, my microphone, editing software and my background too.
